A little bit about me.

From writing stories on my dad’s yellowed-lined legal pads to producing film adaptations on my mom’s camcorder, I was a Creative Director by kindergarten; I just didn’t know it yet.

And while I’ve followed a bit of an unconventional path throughout my career, my love of creating has accompanied me at every phase. I landed my first role out of college at a production agency with the accidental title of “Designer,” which is to say that with no formal training, I fell into the job and spent my first day watching a YouTube series entitled “Adobe Illustrator for Dummies.”

I then went to Forter, where I’ve spent the last 6 years wearing just about every hat one could imagine (Including building workflows in Hubspot, which has been my very least favorite hat). In my time there, I’ve owned and evolved the brand in a way that I am extremely proud of, from Creative Direction down to execution. When I started, we sat in a WeWork, trying to get our name out there. Now, we host sold-out conferences with executives from Fortune 100 companies, remarking on the premium experience they expect when they interact with the Forter brand. And my fingerprints (literally - if you look at our logo) are all over this evolution.

I believe good creative makes you feel something. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, and it has the potential to leave a lasting impact. When I’m not at work, I take this philosophy into my personal life, whether it’s working on my fantasy novel (much improved from the ones I wrote in the early 2000s) or attempting to take editorial photoshoots of my two cats. Creativity is everywhere, and I’m passionate about bringing that through in everything I do.
